Hello everyone!

Welcome back! I am so excited about this consistency! I haven't been this consistent with posts since my first year of blogging so you can imagine my excitement. Blogging makes me happy and learning more about fashion and experimenting with various looks is the icing on top!

My previous post showed how I style my jeans and t-shirts. If you haven't seen the post you can find it here. This is part 2 of this post and is another version of the look. While this is not the typical t-shirt it does fall under that title in my books. I bought this sleeveless long shirt last year from Mr Price. These shirts were really trendy last year and I honestly really could not miss out on this trend. I loved the concept of it all. While I am not a fan of following trends, when I do like a particular item I will purchase it. I feel that following trends too closely can hinder one's creativity when it comes to fashion or even prevent one from reflecting their personality through their style. I think fashion, in some ways, is and should be personal. I am currently trying to determine my style. It is taking me forever to do so but I feel that experimenting is the best way to discover this. I am certain that the more posts I upload, the closer I will get to finding my place in fashion. I have always felt that the fact that I have decided to document my fashion journey on this blog makes a number of people, in my circles, believe that I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to putting outfits together. I love fashion but for some odd reason it does not come natural to me and I know that in a few days or months, I may look back on this post and think 'What on earth was I wearing?!'. Once in a while I have that styling 'Eureka' moment where I discover a new way of wearing the items in my closet, which just works. You can find some of my most favourite 'eureka' moments here and here. Deciding to have natural hair is also one of my favourite fashion decisions and it was such a personal decision which continues to have a great effect on my styling too. The beauty of my love for fashion is that I will keep pushing to learn and discover more about my style until I am confident in the field. As I evolve, my style evolves. I am excited to share this journey with you all and I am so grateful for the comments and feedback you give. It all certainly does help!!!
